Optional analytics is off until you choose “Allow analytics”. Reading, writing, sign-in and purchases do not depend on this choice. This notice supplements our Privacy Policy; accepting the Terms of Service does not enable analytics.
If enabled and accepted, Google Analytics 4 receives page categories, interface language and selected actions: opening a reading page, reaching the end of a chapter, saving a shelf change, creating an account, confirming settings and requesting writing. These are usage signals, not proof that a book was finished or a payment succeeded.
Our events do not include email addresses, account or book identifiers, titles, searches, conversations, prompts, manuscripts, payment details, URL queries or fragments. Page addresses and titles are replaced with generic categories, and the referring URL is not included. Google still processes network and device information needed to receive requests, and pseudonymous cookie identifiers. Analytics is not anonymous merely because names are omitted.
We do not enable advertising personalization, Google signals, user-provided data or automatic form and search tracking. Google may process data outside your region. See Google’s Privacy Policy for its processing practices; our own legal obligations continue to apply.
A necessary preference cookie, evoron_analytics_v1, remembers your choice for up to 180 days across our library and writing subdomain. After consent, Google’s _ga cookies are configured for up to 180 days without automatically extending their expiry. Browser controls may shorten this period.
GA4 event-level data is retained for 2 months and user-level data for 14 months. New user activity resets the user-data retention period. These settings do not apply to most standard reports based on aggregated data and are separate from browser cookie expiry.
Open “Analytics settings” and choose “Essential only” to withdraw. Further application events stop immediately on that page; other open pages re-check the shared choice within approximately one second or when focused. We clear accessible GA cookies, but cannot recall requests already sent or automatically erase data already held by Google. Contact support@evoronai.com for privacy requests. Refusal and withdrawal do not sign you out or erase your manuscripts.
